Toronto Blue Jays Show Progress During May 2026 Season
May 2026 was an important month for the Toronto Blue Jays.
After an inconsistent start to the season, Toronto entered May looking for greater consistency, stronger performances from its key players, and more momentum as the season moved toward the summer months.

The Blue Jays finished May with a 15–14 record, giving them a winning record for the month. Toronto also finished the month with a positive run differential, scoring 122 runs while allowing 105.
Although the Blue Jays still had plenty of work to do, May provided several encouraging signs for a team hoping to make a push as the season continued.
Blue Jays Finish May With Momentum
One of the biggest positives from May was the way Toronto played during the latter part of the month.
The Blue Jays put together an impressive stretch late in May, winning eight of their final 10 games before dropping the final two games of the month.
That strong stretch helped Toronto move closer to the .500 mark and gave the team some much-needed confidence.
The Blue Jays showed that they could win games in different ways. At times, the offense provided the fireworks, while in other games, the pitching staff and defense did the heavy lifting.
That type of balance could become extremely valuable as the season progresses.
